Kona is a 6 month old yellow female weighing about 38 pounds. She was purchased from a breeder by a family that thought the tiny puppy was cute and then she grew up into a very active puppy needing their time that they didn’t have to give. She is house trained and crate trained. Kona needs training, socialization, and lots of activity (everyday throughout the day/rain or shine), plus fun! You cant take your eyes off puppies because they get into everything in the blink of an eye, Kona is no exception, she learned the art of counter surfing from her previous home. A tired puppy is a happy puppy (and a happy human). If you don’t have dog experience (and training experience) this would not be a good fit for you. If you are not active (and we don’t mean walking a mile or two) throughout the day everyday of the week and want a puppy to be part of your everyday all day existence, this would not be a good fit for you. No toddlers or young children please, one reason she was surrendered was because the owners needed the time for their children and puppy needed all of their time and energy. Kona is ready to go to her fun ACTIVE forever home, she would love to live with a running family.
