558 Willow
Willow is an about 2 year old 55 pound light yellow female. She was picked up as a stray with another dog by a rural county shelter. Unfortunately her owners never came to claim them so we got the call to rescue her. She’s new to us and in quarantine in case she catches a doggie cold, but so far from what we have seen is that she is a sweetheart! She knows sit, walks ok on a leash but she’s probably never seen one before rescue. She’s smart, gentle, attentive, wants to please so when her new family takes her through a basic obedience class, they will be the stars of the class. She’s not food motivated yet but definitely praise motivated. She goes right into a crate to sleep and sleeps the night without a peep. She likes being close to her people and will literally back up and sit on your feet. Once there, she tries to wiggle even closer to cuddle between your legs. She saw a feral cat on a walk and really wanted to chase so a cat free home will be a must.
