557 Doc

Doc is a 15 month old purebred AKC registered black male weighing 54 pounds. He was tearfully surrendered by his owner. Doc is good with other dogs, kids, and likes to go with you when you go somewhere in the car. He is a velcro boy and is used to having someone around so he will need that in his new home. He is still a puppy and loves to carry his toy around. He knows sit and is ok on a leash but could use an obedience class to learn some other stuff too. He is well on his way to being house trained, he goes to the door when he needs to go out. Doc visited our veterinarian today and may have a low grade heart murmur (our vet thought grade 1, which is the lowest grade there is). Doc is used to lots of daily exercise, but is a couch potato the rest of the day and just wants to be with his human. He is VERY cuddly, sweet, happy, friendly, and loves to sit/lay next to you to snuggle. Doc is ready for a human best friend to come into his life, if you are not a cuddler Doc isn’t the dog for you. Doc is the type of dog who wants to be touching you as much as possible, he has the lab “lean” down too.
