898 Sunshine – NEW!
Sunshine is a yellow female lab about 1 year old and weighing about 70 pounds. Poor baby was found in a field with her dead newborn puppy, she had just given birth. She had a severe infection of her uterus, city animal control found her and brought her in. She was in the vet clinic at the shelter for a few days to get fluids in her (the first two photos are of her in the vet clinic) then had emergency spay surgery, we picked her up the next day to get her out of the shelter environment. She looks a little beat up but and has obviously been through a lot in her short life. She is sweet as can be, started wagging her tail when we arrived to pick her up, was good for a quick bath to wash the dirt off, she met one of my quiet dogs and was happy to meet her. She has some healing to do but she is a sweetie pie. Let us know if you are interested in this sweet young girl, we wont know how active she is until she heals a little more.
