835 Callie

Callie is a silver female lab about 1 year old and weighs 40 pounds. She was dropped off at the shelter by someone claiming they found her on the street. She had a very hard time at the shelter as she is a sensitive girl. She was going to be euthanized the day we met her so we took a chance and brought her home to see if we could get her out of her very shy shell. She rode well in the car, she is a silent kind of girl and just hangs out. She is house trained, loves her crate, and loves the other dogs (in fact the other dogs are helping her come out of her shell). She will definitely come around, we have had these kinds of dogs in the last and they just need time and reassurance with some confidence. Callie is getting more playful by the day and is now seeking her foster moms attention for pets. She follows the other dogs around and is excited to play with them, its great to see her happy and playful gaining more confidence everyday. She would do best in a home with a playful happy dog that she can follow around, play with, and still gain confidence.
