794 Missy
Missy is about a 7-year-old, 67 pound yellow female. Found running down a rural highway, a good Samaritan picked her up and brought her home. She notified the local shelter and offered to care for her during her stray hold in hopes of adopting her herself. Missy turned out to be more dog than she was hoping for and turned her into the shelter where Missy let everyone know her displeasure! Missy is recovering from her life on the road and her many transitions in the last few weeks, and is starting to show her sweet personality. She is house trained, crate trained and knows sit. She loves car rides! She’s been a country girl and doubt had seen a leash before we rescued her, but she’s learning it’s a good thing. She was a bit overwhelmed with her new dog friends at her foster home, but she’s quickly learning and enjoying playing with them. Missy mostly enjoys the company of her humans and is never far from their side. She seems to have been well cared for and loved; it’s sad that her original people never came looking for her because Missy is a sweet gentle lovable girl.
