783 Nora
Nora is an 9-year-old 89-pound chocolate female. She was picked up as a stray, taken to a rural northern California shelter where she remained unclaimed. The caring staff saw that Nora needed medical care (living on the road was tough on her) and they got her to a vet for care. They contacted us because we have a soft spot for the more mature labs and we followed up on her medical care. She has completely recovered from her ear infection and her spay and is ready to go home! She enjoys playing with Hank, the big 2-year-old foster dog…he is so good, he rolls over on his back so she can more easily reach to playfully chew on his neck.. She is very good on car rides. She just wants to claim the best dog bed as her own so she can have a nice relaxing nap or she goes out onto the deck for some sunshine. We’ve nicknamed her Teddy Bear because she is a big soft lovable teddy bear! Yes, she’s overweight and a diet and daily walks will help with that. Look past the chubby to see what a precious adorable dog Nora really is!
