608 Murphy
Murphy is a happy senior citizen weighing about 50 pounds. He was picked up as a stray and ended up in a crowded shelter. Occasionally we are at a shelter evaluating a lab and come across one of these really special dogs that grabs your heart with his soulful eyes and sweet happy face. He is such an easy going boy and good with everyone. Unfortunately, no one was interested in this special boy because he’s older (we are all headed in that direction folks) and heartworm positive. Murphy had his first heartworm treatment and is doing great. All of the folks at the vet clinic where he had treatment fell in love with his happy tail wagging demeanor.
Update:Murphy is done with heartworm treatment now and has about 45 days of laying around, which he is very good at. He’s such a wonderful, happy, easy, go with the flow kind of boy, he’ll be a joy to have. Yes, we know he’s not close to being a purebred, but he truly is a really nice easy boy! Murphy can go home anytime now. We would all be so lucky to have a “Murphy” in our lives!
