546 Parker
Parker is about a 7 year old 90+ pound yellow male. A good Samaritan picked him up wandering in a rural area of northern California and took him to the local county shelter. No one came looking for him and without tags or microchip, we got the call to help. Parker has been well cared for. He appears house trained, knows sit, and with a little reminding, is good on a leash. He is crate trained(runs right in), knows about car rides and wants to hop in any chance he can get. The shelter said he is excellent with other dogs and when we let him sniff the shelter cats through the screen, he was not interested. But because of his size and his enthusiasm, small children might not be a good fit. He loves to play ball and actually retrieves. He was not found near the Camp Fire, but we worry someone has to be missing his beloved companion, and we just can’t understand why they didn’t look for him. Parker is in quarantine in case he comes down with a doggie cold, but if you are looking for a big, fun lovin’ boy with a real zest for life, check out Parker. You will agree he’s one special boy!
