547 Coco
Coco is a 3 year old chocolate purebred female, weighing 72 pounds (she should weigh closer to 65 pounds). Coco was surrendered due to a sudden allergy development in their oldest child. Coco is a sweet active girl who loves to retrieve and go for car rides. She loves other dogs and happily bounces around wanting to play. Coco is house trained, crate trained and knows sit. We want Coco to be a family dog that goes everywhere and gets the attention she deserves (she has done without for a while now). Coco is a very nice girl and I honestly cant imagine anyone giving her up if they really made her part of the family.
All of a sudden we are seeing a large number of families (with small children, toddlers/infants) wanting to surrender their young labs claiming they don’t have time for the dog. We aren’t sure if these same folks are going to turn around and get the “Christmas Puppy” since the 8 week old puppies are sweet and cuddly, the year old + dogs need training and are bigger than the soft cuddly puppy. We hope that isn’t the story line here.
Coco will be spayed Monday and also have eye surgery to correct the bottom eye lid (it folds under and causes tearing). She can go to her forever home after that.
