537 Tanner
Tanner is a chocolate male about 3 years old and weighs 80 pounds. He was a stray picked up and taken to a small overcrowded rural shelter where his “time” had run out. Tanner is crate trained, knows sit, he is house trained, and walks on a leash fairly well (someone obviously taught him a few things). He is very engaging, happy, friendly, bouncy, playful and will bat the ball around himself. Tanner has just completed his last heartworm treatment (as of December 27), he has one final rest phase of about 45 days. After that he can resume being an active playful dog! This rest time is great for bonding as well as teaching simple easy tricks. Tanner is a couch cuddler and will sleep with you as well. He is an active boy (he can be after this last rest time) and would make an excellent running partner. Tanner can go home anytime now as long as he stays quiet for this last rest phase.
