Maya is a 66 pound 7 year old chocolate female. Maya is a bundle of love and wants to be as close to you as possible which means she’s a hugger! She found herself as a stray at a rural shelter where we just knew her people would come for her, but then we got the call for help. One look at that precious face and we couldn’t say no. She is super friendly, knows sit, needs work on a leash and absolutely loves her crate. She is house trained and can be trusted in the house. Not only is she a bundle of love, she is a bundle of energy. She is good with other dogs with proper introduction–no strange dogs running up into her face–that makes her a bit nervous, but once she’s met one, she only wants to play! Small children would easily be knocked down by her enthusiasm but for the right active family, Maya is going to make a great addition.
