529 Jack

Jack is a 4 year old 88 pound chocolate male. He started life with aspirations of being a show dog and life was good until it became obvious that one testicle didn’t descend. So, Jack’s show career got cut short and he became a very gorgeous pet quality lab. His people loved him and realized that their small back yard with pool and deck was not the optimal home for him and sadly contacted rescue so that we could find that dream home with loving adopters and a large back yard with lawn and a pool where our baby hippo can cool off on the steps of the pool. Jack was well trained back during his ‘modeling’ days, but a refresher obedience course will bring it all back in no time. He is house trained, crate trained, knows sit, down and stay and walks nicely on heal. He just likes hanging out with his people or other dogs his size (he’s just too big and uncoordinated with little dogs and could crush them accidentally!). We’ve promised Jack’s family that we would find him his perfect home.
