393 Willy

Wilshire, aka Willy, is an 81 pound nearly 2 year old black male. He came into rescue when a good Samaritan contacted us on behalf of her neighbor who had a lot of dogs and was moving. Willy was un-socialized when he came into rescue and needed lots of love and attention. He now is becoming a typical 2 year old lab. He is house trained and crate trained. His ‘default’ in the house is to lay on his dog bed, but he comes and goes outside via a doggie door. Willy had not experienced much in his early life in a kennel, so it has been a joy to watch him blossom before our eyes. Everything is a new experience for him: a leash, a bath, even a car ride. It’s all been very scary for our big baby but he takes on each challenge with a brave face. Willy is looking for an experienced dog owner who can continue to give Willy positive life lessons.
