268 Rudy

Rudy is a black German Shepherd mix barely 1 year old and weighing 67 pounds. Rudy is fairly tall and very thin so we expect him to fill out a bit as he matures. Yes we said German Shepherd! Rudy was scheduled to be put to sleep Labor Day weekend and the shelter asked if we would rescue him because they thought he was very sweet and no one else came forward to rescue. Rudy is happy, playful, friendly, EVERYONE is Rudy’s friend! He is still very much a puppy and needs to learn some leash manners but he is eager to learn and wants to be with his humans and dog friends. Rudy is potty trained and knows how to use a doggie door. He is playful (and a bit mischievous at times, like carrying items from the house out to the yard so he can play with them, he hasn’t chewed but does play with them) but also has a nice mellow side as well. We can’t resist the sweet ones! This is a special boy who is loving and with some training will make a phenomenal companion. We think his ears may stand up all the way here soon….they look like they are standing up more and more each day.
