252 Smitty

Smitty is a young, maybe 8 months old, 50 pound yellow male mix. Yes, his ears are a bit too big for his head, but his heart and soul are as big as his ears so we had to rescue him! He was picked up as a stray and found his way to a very small northern California shelter where he was in danger of being put to sleep to make more space at the shelter. Smitty is one sweet boy who wants to love anyone who will love him back. Smitty loves to play fetch and walks pretty well on a leash. He knows sit and shake and we’ve already got him working on the down command…he had some training before. We just rescued him so we are still getting to know him, but we already know that with his personality, he’s going to be a fun addition for some lucky family.
