213 Sampson
Sampson, aka Sam, is a 2 year old, small, about 60 pound fox red male. He is an energetic youngster who is eager and ready for continued training so he can become an awesome adult dog. Sam is a smart boy, knows the sit command, he has an alert spirited disposition, plays well with other dogs, he will be a forever friend and wonderful new family member. Sam needs to be a part of your life and activities and not just a yard dog. He’s a dog who will do well in a home with an active lifestyle. He was temperament tested and given a purple star which means he’d be good with kids (but personally, kids over 8 might be best). He’s new to rescue and we are just getting to know him. He appears to be house trained but his house manners need some work. Don’t let the wrinkled brow worry you, his only worry is when you are going to throw the ball. He was also tested with cats and ignored the shelter cat, but the cat is used to the routine…don’t run, dog won’t chase, so a slow and proper introduction to a new cat will be necessary.
