Quill – NEW!
Quill is a black male lab mix, weighing approximately 80 pounds. Sadly, Quill needs a new forever home due to a family member with severe allergies to him. The family raised him from a puppy so he has been loved and cared for his entire life. Quill is an incredibly affectionate dog who has slowed down as he’s gotten older. He would thrive with a family that enjoys a quieter lifestyle, stays close to home, avoids taking him into large crowds, and can provide a consistent routine. Quill has become a bit more anxious, but he finds a lot of comfort in being close to his people. He loves attention, pets, and affection, and he’s been neutral with other dogs that have visited our home as long as they are neutral towards him as well. He would be best as an only dog, unless the current dog is very chill. His favorite things are chewing on rawhide bones and playing tug-of-war, we don’t know if he likes to swim since he hasn’t been around a pool. He knows basic commands and is crate trained. He had car sickness as a puppy and while he hasn’t thrown up in the car since he was a year old, he doesn’t love driving.
