Joey
Joey is a 4-5 year old 67 pound handsome black male. Friendly, outgoing, intelligent, a major cuddler, playful, athletic…Joey has it all! Joey was picked up as a stray by a northern
California shelter where no one came to claim him. He arrived quite skinny and we thought he might have been on the road a while but he’s just an energetic retriever! Joey is house trained and crate trained. He knows sit and likes to speed walk on the leash. He came with nice house manners so he obviously had training. He’s good with other dogs and children but we don’t know about cats(we’re guessing they are a no). He loves playing with his foster dog friends or playing fetch. And when it’s time to cuddle, he starts with his heavy head in your lap and then slowly one front paw, then the other and then the back paws till he’s in your face giving kisses. Joey is ready for an active Labrador knowledgeable home where he can get the activity both physical and mental with lots of love thrown in to make him the happiest lab he can be.
