834 Duke

Duke is a very handsome black male lab about 2 years old weighing 60 pounds. He ended up at a city shelter where they have no space and are euthanizing current residents as new dogs arrive to make kennel space, we scooped him up quick so the shelter had space for another dog. He is very sweet, rides in the car well and we think he had his first bath ever and sort of liked it towards the end with lots of scrubbing and brushing. Duke is a friendly, happy, easy-going boy who loves to cuddle. He is good with other dogs, was a little too interested in the shelter kitties so that may not be an option for him. He would make an awesome walking/jogging companion. He needs an obedience class (all our dogs benefit from them) to make him the best boy. He is pretty easy going and loves to be around his people.
