808 Missy
Missy is a chocolate female lab about 6 years old and weighs 49 pounds. She was a stray who ended up at a small rural shelter (brimming with dogs needing adoption). Her sweet face and easy disposition made it an easy decision for us to rescue her. She is good in the car, easy going, great on leash, good with other dogs, super sweet, and a nice smaller size girl. Missy ignored the dogs at the shelter and wasn’t interested in them. We love getting dogs like this…they make our fostering job so easy. She is house trained. Unfortunately Missy is heartworm positive and will be undergoing treatment at our expense. If someone would like to give Missy a quiet calm place to hang out during treatment we would welcome that (as long as you are fairly close to Lincoln), with the option to adopt following completion of treatment. Missy will be easy to keep quiet during treatment since she is such an easy going girl. Thank you to everyone asking to foster Missy, we really appreciate it! We have Missy in a foster adoptive home now and will keep you posted on her progress.
