724 Summer
Summer is an 8-year old 80-pound black female. Given up by her owner because she could not afford the care Summer needed. When she was surrendered, she had a necrotic open wound on her back along with a UTI. She got x-rays, bloodwork and the much needed surgery to clean up and remove the problem. She’s on antibiotics for her UTI and is quickly showing the truly happy playful girl she is. It’s amazing how well she is doing post surgery! She came into rescue as an outside only dog, but she’s adjusting just fine to being an inside dog. She likes sleeping in a crate, but she likes to nap on a dog bed when she can snag one not in use. She is good and very playful with other dogs, kids and even cats(she was in a foster home with a dog savvy cat and she was all wiggles). Summer is one of the happiest, sweetest, most lovable girls you’ll find.
