659 Elliott
Elliott is a male black lab about 7 months old and weighing 52 pounds. He was found running down a highway where someone saw him get hit by a truck. Luckily he was picked up by a good Samaritan and taken to a small rural shelter, no one came for him. Elliott is sweet as can be. We are doing some vet work and will update you as we go along. Elliott is playful (although we are curbing that for now), sweet, easy going, likes to CHEW and will chew the furniture right in front of you (he’s a puppy!). He is potty trained, everything goes in his mouth (socks, shoes, leaves, sticks, twigs, rocks so he needs to be watched at all times!!!) and doesn’t know much beyond that. He will need LOTS of training to make him the best boy ever, in the meantime he will weave the leash between your legs which may trip you. He is used to dog friends and may be lonely without someone to play with or his human around. He cannot be left alone outside of a crate if you leave or your place may be remodeled, and not to your liking. Yep they are puppies until they are about 3 or 4. It appears he will not need surgery following the truck incident, he is healing on his own.
