Yep George is not a lab but we couldn’t resist when the small rural shelter over flowing with strays called us and asked for help. George is a black and white Landseer (related to the New Foundland breed) about 4 or 5 years old weighing 106 pounds. He is about the size of a small pony but we haven’t met a sweeter, calmer, quiet, mellow, easy going boy in a very long time. He curled up on his dog bed and is happy to be out of the shelter. George is good on leash, is house trained (he kept his kennel clean at the shelter), and ignored the shelter cats. He is great with kids and loves everyone. George is used to the slippery floors (laminate and tile) in the house now and hangs out wherever you are, he just wants to be where the action is.
