612 Einstein
Einstein is a 5 month old, 40 pound black lab mix. We got a call from a rural shelter that they had picked up this cute pup but he had a broken leg. They got it x-rayed and were hopeful his people would come to help him. No such luck so when his stray hold was up, we rescued him to save his life. Rescue isn’t always about taking the perfect looking, healthy, easy to adopt and Labs 2 Love takes as many of the heartworm positive dogs and injured dogs as we can financially handle. Yes, it costs us, but each one is worth saving! There was no doubt the minute we met Einstein that he was coming home for some TLC. He is such a sweet goofy puppy. He’s calm for a puppy and it’s not just because of his broken leg. He’ll be going in for surgery to have a plate put in so hopefully he’ll be as good as new in a few weeks–just trying to get the orthopedist to squeeze in some surgery time. Einstein loves attention, likes dogs, is fairly good on a leash, enjoys car rides and loved ‘the massage’ he got when he was bathed. He is a well socialized, playful, silly, happy, goofy puppy who bounces and romps and throws his toys around. He may even be house trained! He is using the doggie door to go outside to do his business. After surgery, he’ll need crate rest for 4 weeks. Good news is he’s really comfortable and quiet in his crate.
