593 Bailey
Bailey is a senior black female weighing about 74 pounds. She sustained an injury under her front arm and her owner dumped her off at the shelter because he didn’t want to take her to the vet (we call this “senior dumping”). Bailey is the sweetest girl and we instantly realized what a great girl she is. She couldn’t get out of the shelter fast enough even with the wound under her arm that was hurting pretty bad. We closed up the wound and its healing nicely. She moved in her foster moms home and was worried about where her daddy was for about 3 days, she kept going to the gate in the hopes she could go home. We expect no less from these labs that have hearts of gold that love their humans no matter what. Bailey has lots of pep in her step and would love to run around and play but the stitches prevent it right now. She is sweet, happy, engaging, easy going, playful, mellow, would follow you everywhere, and loves to be involved with whatever you are doing. She will be a great companion.
