591 Harper
Harper is a 72 pound about 4 year old light yellow female. We considered naming her Charlotte because she is a royal girl…an English lab. She found her way to a northern California shelter where her people never came to claim her. It’s obvious she was not on the road long because she is a chubby girl. When she arrived, she knew very little, but she’s house trained now and sleeps quietly in a crate at night. She only sleeps in a crate because even though she is about 4, she acts like a puppy! Everything she can reach still goes into her mouth and she has to be watched. She is a total wiggle worm and will rearrange furniture when she wiggles. Harper is not a dog who will be happy left alone in the back yard nor will you be happy if you leave her alone in the house. She is a very gregarious girl who wants in on all the action and if there’s none to be had, she’ll make her own! Fun is this girl’s middle name and she is a bundle of fun who needs some maturing. Harper is a delight if you can put up with all the puppy like behaviors.
