424 Trip

Trip is a black male about 3 years old and weighs 80 pounds. He was abandoned and chained up at a rest stop on a highway in Northern California where animal control picked him up. Hard to imagine someone would do that to an animal. Trip is an amazing boy in spite of what happened. He is sweet, playful, has manners, is house trained and now using the doggie door to go outside. He is good with his foster dog friends, he tested well with cats at the shelter, and absolutely LOVES his foster mom’s 9 year old daughter. He is an exuberant boy when excited though and still jumps around you like a puppy when he is excited. He knows sit, down and walks ok on a leash. Trip probably has not seen much of the world and could use some experience seeing new things (at a gradual pace). He was worried when he moved into his foster home (as most of them are) but very quickly warmed up and adjusted to his new home life. He slept on a dog bed next to his foster mom all night without a peep.
