323 Oma

Oma is a 5 year old (will be 6 at the end of March) 68 pound black female. Sadly given up by her young owner when she was unable to find affordable housing allowing a large dog. Oma was her partner who backpacked, camped, hiked with her and then helped her ‘mother’ her 2 year old son. Oma is nice mannered girl who has the basics down. She is house trained, crate trained, ok on a leash, knows sit, doesn’t get on furniture, etc. She is good with other dogs, and even had lived with a cat. She also adores small children. Oma means Grandma in German and though she is very loving, she has lots more energy than most grandmas! She is looking for another home where she will be loved and adored as much as she was in her previous home. Oma used to swim a lot and she is more prone to ear infections so she will need to have her ears flushed on a regular basis even if she doesn’t swim, the less swimming the better for her ears.
