211 Carissa
Carissa is about a 3 year old 75 pound, very light yellow female. Carissa came to us via a Good Samaritan who rescued her from a rural shelter. Carissa is a love, but she’s had little training before moving into her current home. She is now house trained and sleeps in a crate. She gets along with all her foster’s dogs and loves to play with the younger, more active dogs in the house. She knows sit, and she is learning about the leash, but continued training is a must to make this beauty the perfect girl she is meant and wanting to be. She has been through a lot of changes in her life lately and is a bit unsure and needy…she really prefers to have her person around a lot. Update: Carissa has a torn ACL so she will be undergoing surgery May 23, 2016. Carissa had her surgery and has one more month of crate rest (until July 3, 2016), then she can slowly resume activity.
