190 Sweet Pea

Sweet Pea is a black female 1 year and 4 months old, weighing about 55 pounds. She came from a small rural shelter, surrendered by an owner who is sick and could no longer care for her. According to her surrendering owner she was bred as a hunting dog but that career path apparently didn’t suit her. We can tell you right away she is super sweet and loving. She loves to play ball, likes other dogs, and as far as we can tell she gets along with cats as well. She is crate trained, she seems to be house trained but that may need to be reinforced in her new home, she knows sit, she does need an obedience class to help walking better on a leash. She loves her foster moms 7 year old daughter too and would do best with older children as toddlers may get accidently knocked over. She is still very much a puppy and will probably like to chew. She will need daily exercise and lots of training so she can reach her full potential and be at her best. She has great eye contact and very much wants to please you. We do have an adopter lined up for Sweet Pea and as soon as she is spayed she will be officially adopted.
