103 Lilly
Lilly a 12 year old, 88 pound, female was dropped off at the shelter and her owner claimed the landlord wouldn’t let him keep his dog anymore. We heard about her and decided to scoop her up. What a sweetie pie, the shelter staff had nothing but good things to say about how sweet and easy going she is. We are sure she was confused at first and wondering why she wasn’t at home anymore, but she has settled in nicely. Her foster mom let her off the leash on her property today and had to run to catch her, yes this girl still has some go left in her. Of course she has some arthritis but it seems to be manageable with the help of some arthritis medication, she is definitely worth it! She sleeps on her dog bed through the night without a peep. She LOVES pets and body scratches and playing in the water (she tries to catch the water as it comes out the hose and dips her face in her water dish). She is housetrained and knows how to use a doggie door. Lilly wants to be part of whatever is going on in the house or outside and is great with children and all dogs. She is truly a gem.
