399 Charlie
Charlie is a black male lab weighing about 46 pounds and is about 10+ years old. Poor guy was so shocked at being in the shelter, I am sure he couldn’t understand how or why he was there. Charlie was picked up as a stray and taken to a small rural shelter, his time was up and we couldn’t resist that sweet face. He was so scared he wouldn’t walk out of the shelter, his foster mom had to carry him to the car. After a nice refreshing bath and a nap he started wagging his tail and came up for pets and loves. He is potty trained and is quite the gentleman regarding house manners. He has met his foster dog friends and wags his tail but goes about his business and just hangs out quietly. He is very good with his foster mom’s 9 year old daughter, very sweet and gentle. Charlie would love to have a family (or single person) to call his own where he can curl up on a dog bed and hang out with the family.
